Carlos Sandin is a London-based artist working and performing across comedy, stage, and screen as both a performer and facilitator. He is known for his unique blend of dynamic physicality and wild audience engaged humour.
Starting in 2018 as a resident theatre practitioner at Bristol Old Vic with a focus on devised and ensemble work, Carlos has since performed professionally as an actor on stage, screen and more alternative theatrical spaces in the UK, Europe and North America.
Whilst re-focusing his artist practice into comedy and clown he created his debut solo show ‘Carlos Sandin: Pull My Goldfinger‘ – a James Bond themed clown show and formed the award-winning clownprov double act ‘The Supermalts‘ alongside comedy pratner Fred Newnes.
Alongside performing Carlos also teaches in a variety of contexts: from youth theatres, and undergrad students to professional performers and comedians. More recently, he has also begun producing and directing other comedians such as the skecth comedy group NipSlip and Fred Newnes debut solo show ‘Tony Kony: Lost in New York‘.
